Orlando International Airport Exceeding Holiday Forecasts
ORLANDO, FL.— The 12-day Thanksgiving holiday travel period is underway and Orlando International Airport (MCO) is already exceeding expectations. Passenger traffic was predicted to be 10 percent higher than last year and on par with 2019 pre-pandemic numbers. As of four days into the travel period, MCO is on record pace with approximately 14.5 percent more passengers than in 2021, making Orlando International one of the busiest airports in the country this holiday season.
